I served these with Brussels sprouts sauteed in bacon and a simple remoulade.
8 oz lump crab
¼ cup diced onion
¼ cup diced red and/or green pepper
¼ cup almond flour
1 egg
2 tbsp mayo
1 tsp old bay seasoning
1 lemon
Mix all ingredients and form into 6 patties. Heat a skillet with just enough oil to coat pan. Fry each side for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Squeeze lemon on all cakes and serve with tartar or remoulade sauce. Green onions are option but make it look pretty 😉.
RemouladeÂ
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon sweet relish
¼ tsp chili powder
Couple dashes of hot sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Mix together in a small bowl. Serve on top or on the side.
