GF Korean Beef Bowl


Korean Beef Bowl


Ingredients:


1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup Gluten free soy sauce

1 1/2 tsp sesame oil

1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

1/4 tsp ground ginger

3/4 tbsp grapeseed oil

2 cloves minced fresh garlic

1 lb ground beef

1 bunch sliced green onions (scallions)

1/4 tsp sesame seeds

1 1/4 cups rice/Cauliflower rice


Instructions:


Prepare the rice according to package directions.

In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes and ginger. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic, and cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the ground beef, and cook until browned, about 3 to 5 minutes, making sure to crumble the beef as it cooks. Drain excess fat.Stir in the soy sauce mixture and most of the green onions until well combined, allowing to simmer until heated through, about 2 minutes.


Serve immediately, garnished with remaining green onion and sesame

seeds.
