GF Slow cooker Ribs


I put a rub on for at least 12 hours before I cook them.

Rub:


2 tbsp Season salt

1 tsp granulated garlic

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp brown sugar

1/2 tsp black pepper


Slow cooker ribs

1 rack of ribs

½ cup of water

6 oz Barbeque sauce


Roll rack into a spiral and tie with twine or wrap in foil. Place a small plate upside down at the bottom of the slow cooker and pour water on top so it drips to the bottom. The plate adds elevation so you are steaming rather than boiling your ribs. Cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 8-10. Pre-heat oven to broil Hi. Carefully place ribs on a broiler safe pan (They are fall apart tender) and brush liberally with barbecue sauce. Place in oven for about 5 minutes, when the sauce starts to bubble and carmelize. Serve immediately.

To make keto/low carb omit brown sugar in rub and use keto approved Barbecue sauce.
